Maggie McDaniel
After her first religious travel experience in 1999, Maggie McDaniel returned a changed person. What she had encountered in Italy — the culture, the art, the history — had a real impact on how she began to live her life at home. At the request of a pastor friend, she helped organize his church pilgrimage to Italy. It was truly a labor of love. Maggie felt called to help others have the opportunity to make faith-based pilgrimages.
With over a decade of leading pilgrimages around the world, Maggie founded OSB Travel. She and her husband, Deacon Charlie, reside in Perrysburg, Ohio, and are greatly involved in the local area church. Maggie is the force behind OSB Travel and works individually with you to craft your group travel experience.
If Teresa could describe Maggie in one word, it would be: GENEROUS.
Teresa Grodi
Teresa Grodi has always loved to travel; studying atlases and travel photos while dreaming of cross-country trips are some of her earliest memories! Teresa earned her degrees in history from Bowling Green State University, with special academic focuses on European history and church history.
After a deeply moving conversion experience during a pilgrimage, she wanted nothing more than to use her degrees in history to share the gift of pilgrimage with others. Teresa, her husband, JonMarc, and their five children reside in Perrysburg and are greatly involving in the local area church.
If Maggie could describe Teresa in one word, it would be: PASSIONATE.
Maggie and Teresa first met in 2008 on a pilgrimage Maggie was leading for Teresa’s university youth group. Teresa mentioned in passing that Maggie had her “dream job”! Maggie was deeply impacted by that statement and prayed about it over the upcoming years. Six years later, Teresa and her new family moved back to Perrysburg. Maggie, recalling Teresa’s words, invited her to become the first member of the OSB Travel team!
Fun fact: Both Maggie and Teresa have a deep love for the Umbrian countryside of Italy.
