Day 1 MON - Feb 3: Depart Detroit Metro airport for overnight flight to Tel Aviv with transfers.

Day 2 TUE – Feb 04: Arrival Tel Aviv – Transfer to Tiberias Welcome to the Holy Land!
We will arrive through Ben Gurion Airport where we meet our local guide and driver and head to the Sea of Galilee where we check into our hotel at Sea of Galilee. Dinner and overnight (D)

Day 3 WED – Feb 05: Caesarea / Mt. Carmel / Megiddo / Nazareth / Tiberias

This morning we start the day with an excursion to Caesarea Maritima Herods Master piece harbour on the Mediterranean, we see the Roman theatre, Herod’s palace, Hippodrome and the ancient harbour. It was in Caesarea where Paul was imprisoned for 2 years before he would be sent to Rome for his Trial and where Peter baptized Cornelius the first gentile. On to Mt Carmel visit Muhraqa “Place of fire” where we recall Elijah triumph over the prophets of Baal. From the roof top of the Monastery we enjoy a bird view panorama over the Valley of Armageddon and hills of Galilee and Samaria. After Lunch we drive to Megiddo visit the Tel with remains of 24-27 cities imposed one on top of another where we see remains of the city gate from time of King Solomon and royal palace and stables from Ahab times, however it is not that what brought fame to the site but the prophecy in book of revelation that refer to the Valley nearby to be the site of the final battle. Our last stop for the day would the town of Nazareth visiting the Church of the Annunciation where the Angel of Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary announcing the good news. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Day 4 THU – Feb 06: Sea of Galilee / Capharnaum/ Yardenit

Following breakfast, we start the day with a boat ride around the Sea of Galilee. Stop to visit the Jesus Boat Museum. Then we will visit Capernaum where we see the remains of an old house. Then we continue to visit the Church of the Multiplication of Fishes and Loaves. This afternoon we visit Mt. Beatitudes the site of the Sermon. If time permits we will visit the Yardenit Baptismal Site where group might renew their baptismal vows. Return to hotel for Dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Day 5 FRI – Feb 07: Tiberias / Beit Shean / Gideon Spring / Jericho / Jerusalem

This morning after breakfast we depart Galilee and travel south to Bet Shean famous for having the best preserved Roman Ruins city in Holy Land and see the nearby Tel where the bodies of King Saul and his children were hanged by the Philistines. Next we visit Gideon Spring where Gideon took his 10000 men to drink water keeping only 300 who drank it watchful to reveal the glory of the Lord. Along the Jordan we travel entering the west bank for visit of Bet Arabah “Bethany beyond the Jordan” Baptismal site of Christ where also the Israelites crossed into the Promised Land and from where Elijah was taken into heaven. Following lunch (included) we will enter Jericho to see the excavations of the ancient walls, view the Mount of Temptation, and see Elijah’ s Spring. We start our ascending to Jerusalem where we reach Mt Scopus for our first view of the City and celebrate the genesis welcome into the Holy City. check in at our hotel for dinner and overnight (B.L.D)

Day 6 SAT – Feb 08: Bethlehem / Mt. Zion

Start the day with a visit the Manger Square where we visit the Church of the Nativity built over the birthplace of Jesus. Following the visit we will continue to visit Shepherd’s Field where the Angel appeared to the Shepherd’s. Following Lunch (included) we will depart to visit Mt. Zion where we visit the Upper Room and St. Peter in Galicantu where Peter denies Jesus three times. Back to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight (B.L.D)

Day 7 SUN – Feb 09: Jerusalem / Sunday Service / Free to Explore Jerusalem

Today after breakfast we visit the St. Andrew’s Scots Church for Sunday Service with communion. We will briefly visit the Old City. Rest of the day is free to explore Jerusalem on your own. Today lunch is on your own. (B,D)

Day 8 MON – Feb 10: Temple Mount / Wailing Wall / St. Anne’s / Via Dolorosa

This morning after breakfast Our First stop, will be the Wailing Wall Judaism holiest spot
and the Temple Mount where the Holy Temples of Jerusalem stood and where our Lord main Jerusalem ministry have taken place. On to visit the Pools of Bethesda and the nearby St Ann’s Church where Jesus healed the paralytic. Following lunch we visit the start the Lithos
-stratos at the Ecce Homo convent seeing the Judgment floor and then we walk and pray the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Day 9 TUE – Feb 11: Masada / Qumran / Dead Sea / Jerusalem

After breakfast we will depart to visit Masada, truly a remarkable piece of history. After the visit of Masada we continue to visit Qumran to see the caves where they hid some of the Dead Sea Scroll. After lunch we depart to visit the Dead Sea to try a float or swim in the Rich Mineral Salty water. Back to our hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight (B.L.D)

Day 10 WED – Feb 12: Mt. Olives / Gethsemane / Yad Vashem / Israel Museum

Following our buffet breakfast at hotel we depart to visit Mt. Olives where we stop for a Panoramic view over Jerusalem where our tour guide will point the most important sites
in Jerusalem. Then we will walk down the Palm Sunday road towards Gethsemane where group will have private time in the Garden. After lunch we visit Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Museum, as well as the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are kept. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem. (B.L.D)

Day 11 THU – Feb 13: JERUSALEM / TEL AVIV / USA We transfer to Tel Aviv Airport for our return flight to the USA departing approximately 5:40 am, arriving in Detroit approximately 2:20 in the afternoon of February 13.
